Multi-compatible

No complicated assembly or installation required.
Whether you hold it with your hands or use a single rowlock (fixed or removable), the TEMO 450 can be used on multiple vessels and in all waters (even the shallowest). The TEMO 450 is extremely robust and can propel sailing boats up to 500 kg or 2.5 m tenders with two or three people on board.

Autonomous

Practical and ELECTRIC! With the TEMO 450 you do not need to remove the battery to charge it. Plug it directly into a 220V or 12V or 24V socket and enjoy an hour of cruising speed. Enough to carry out all your daily trips and go ashore or to your boat with peace of mind.

Is the Temo 450 waterproof?

Yes, 100% waterproof with IP67 certificate (tested for 30 minutes at 1 meter depth)

Does the Temo 450 float?

TEMO will only float for a few seconds, but will then sink quickly. We offer a buoyancy aid as an accessory .
Please note that TEMO also comes with a rowlock attachment that allows you to secure TEMO on board and avoid any risk of falling into the water.

Can the Temo 450 be locked to the boat?

Of course!
Even though TEMO is very light and easy to carry in the transport bag, it can also be left on your boat.
TEMO offers an anti-theft system ( available in our accessories ) to secure TEMO when you are away.
Also note that TEMO has a magnetic safety key that acts as a circuit breaker. Without the key the engine cannot start.

How do I know if Temo 450 is suitable for my boat?

If you currently use the oar or a small engine (equivalent or less than 2 HP) for your dinghy trips then TEMO is a perfect fit.
Temo 450 is 3 times more powerful than a single person can row. In general, TEMO will be able to propel boats up to 2m50 with 2-3 people on board and loaded with equipment.

What is the range at full power?

The speed of TEMO can be adjusted by pressing the trigger. If you hold the trigger down, you have up to 42 minutes of autonomy. And up to 80 minutes at half speed.

Electric motors can be divided into the following categories:

Inboard engines:	These are engines that are built into the boat to replace, for example, an existing marine diesel or to drive a sloop with a built-in engine. Propulsion takes place, for example, via a propeller shaft or sail drive and the engine is usually placed along the length of the boat.
Outboard engines:	These are engines that are, for example, attached to the rear (transom) of the boat. These motors are therefore more flexible because they are easily accessible and removable. When there is a voltage of 24 volts or higher, we call it an outboard motor.
Whisper engines:	Whisper motors are the lighter brother of the outboard motor because of a voltage below 24 volts. They are often powered by an external 12V battery.
Pods:	These engines are therefore mounted under the boat . This therefore has the great advantage that the engine does not take up any space in the boat and is not visible on the outside of the boat.
Watercraft:	Our water scooter is an electrically powered swimming board. When used the other way around, it is also a double water cannon. This is not only a fun toy for small children, but also a very useful tool for less mobile swimmers.
