This has started something very beautiful that has led to collaboration between Robust-MT Marine Technology BV and Kemeling Kunststoffen . Together we will build various HDPE boats, ranging from a large Westlander tour boat to compact rental boats, robust work boats or fishing boats. Read our story here.

Collaboration Robust-MT and Kemeling Kunststoffen

Kemeling Kunststoffen has all the facilities to robotically manufacture boats from sustainable and even recycled HDPE plastic sheet material. Robust-MT Marine Technology BV has the latest innovations in the field of electric sailing and electricity on board. The plan is for Kemeling Kunststoffen to produce the hulls. Robust-MT Marine Technology BV will complete the boats and sell them through its own sales channel and network to both business and private customers.

But how do you build a boat together?

The beautiful Westlander Canal Boat was created a number of years ago as a showcase for Kemeling Kunststoffen . This boat is super innovative and has a direct electric design. Together with Robust-MT Marine Technology BV, this model is now being updated in terms of drive technology and electrical system and also optimized for business professional use. In addition, work is being done on a version of the same boat as a compact sustainable cargo boat for urban areas such as the Amsterdam canals.

However, Kemeling Kunststoffen's manufacturing process is ideal for volume production of a smaller boat that can be developed, for example, as a rental boat, small sloop, fishing boat or work boat. Together we first test sailed a prototype and then Kemeling made a beautiful design for the boat and Robust-MT Marine Technology BV designed a matching electrical system and electric drive.

Robust-MT Marine Technology BV is located in Monster on the edge of the water-rich Westland . Located in South Holland between Rotterdam and The Hague, but also near Delft and the North Sea. Our showroom and workshop are also located on a main waterway. We also have a berth on the Haringvliet, near Zeeland, where we can also arrange trial runs. We also work with a renowned yacht builder and shipyard in Woubrugge near Amsterdam and North Holland. This location also has its own port, a large crane as well as a heated and unheated warehouse.
