Tinned copper terminals ensure maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance. M12 bolts, 22 mm (7/8") long, accommodate multiple cable lugs. The enclosure design (IP66) allows for surface, rear, or front panel installation. Blue Sea Systems battery switches are the standard for battery switches. Battery management is essential for the safe operation of a boat or vehicle. A battery switch is required in any boat with a battery exceeding 800 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA). This requirement exists to isolate potentially destructive energy in the batteries in the event of a fire.
