The USB port has a rubber cover and a rectangular faceplate that can be left out. Nickel-plated brass connections prevent corrosion and the cover protects the sockets against dirt and moisture when not in use. Suitable for cars, campers, campers, caravans, boats, motorcycles or any vehicle with 12V/24V. The socket is mounted in a 29mm panel hole that is screwed into place using a threaded rotating ring. The front panel is secured through two openings using the supplied screws and the power connection is made via two AMP terminals marked with poles.
