This is preferable to a short cable with a separate extension cord: every extra connection creates contact resistance and thus heat generation. Flush-mountable chassis part The MiniPlug is concealed flush in the hull, bodywork, or superstructure. Preferably mount the contact slightly downward so that water drains out, and in a location protected against mechanical damage.
