TS Enovations Bi-stable Discharge Protect (12V) Each bi-stable relay is constructed from a high-quality, high-power relay and equipped with additional electronics for a special function. The control voltage is 12 or 24 VDC. The relay has two states, and the armature can remain in either position when the relay is de-energized. This causes the contacts operated by the armature to remain in the position in which they were last switched. An internal voltage pulse is sufficient to switch the relay, so it requires minimal electrical energy to close or break the circuit. Note that a bi-stable relay always requires a voltage at the input to switch!
