Victron EasySolar is an all-in-one solar power solution and consists of the following components in a single enclosure. EasySolar inverter/charger: MultiPlus Compact 24/3000/70-32 GX The EasySolar-II 3000VA GX enables connection to CAN-bus battery management systems, the VRM port portal for external data monitoring via Ethernet or built-in Wi-Fi, enables ESS functionality, among other things. The MPPT charge controller and the MultiPlus inverter/charger share the DC battery cables via battery-connection M8 bolts. The batteries can be charged with solar power (BlueSolar MPPT) and/or with AC power (inverter/charger) from the utility grid or a generator. The output has uninterruptible power output. The EasySolar takes over the power supply to the connected loads in the event of a power outage or if shore/generator power is interrupted. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment can continue to operate without disruption. EasySolar solar charge controller: Smart Solar MPPT 250/70 The integral MPPT has a 250V input voltage, giving great flexibility when choosing solar panel configurations. In addition, because the MPPT is Victron Smart, all the usual VictronConnect App functionality is provided. Up to three strings of PV panels can be connected using three sets of MC4 (PV-ST01) PV connectors. GX panel The GX suffix indicates that there is a GX device for control and monitoring built in. A GX device is usually a standalone device such as a Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX or a CANvu GX – but in this case it is a newly integrated GX device that is already connected to the internal multiplus-II and MPPT charge controller. Display A 2 x 16 character screen is a two-line display that shows what the device is doing and, if relevant, can also display a detailed error code. PowerAssist The unique PowerAssist technology protects the device or the generator power supply from overload by adding additional inverter power when necessary. Unique software for solar energy applications Several software programs (assistants) are available for configuring the system for both grid-interactive systems and standalone applications. Parallel or three-phase For parallel or three-phase operation with the EasySolar-II 3000VA GX, only one GX device can be used. In fact, one GX device is sufficient, and therefore it does not make sense to install three EasySolar-II 3000VA GX devices in a parallel or three-phase installation. Instead, two normal MultiPlus-IIs can be installed alongside the EasySolar-II GX device.
