The ET340 three-phase energy meter (kWh) enables dual tariff management for active energy metering and cost allocation. The meter can measure incoming and outgoing energy, or it can be programmed for either. The ET340's DIN-rail housing features an RS485 Modbus port available via screw terminals, dual RJ45 connectors, or an optical infrared communication port for up to 247 transceivers on the same bus. A runtime counter is also available to correlate energy usage with relevant operating hours.
