The ET340 three-phase energy meter (kWh) enables dual rate management for active energy metering and cost allocation. The meter can measure incoming and outgoing energy or be programmed for either. The ET340 housing is for DIN rail mounting and features an RS485 Modbus port available via screw terminals, dual RJ45 connectors or optical infrared communications port for up to 247 transceivers on the same bus. An operating hours counter is also available to link the energy to the relevant working hours.
