The ePropulsion E-Series E40 battery is compatible with all Epropulsion motors, except the Vaquita. It's designed for maximum efficiency, performance, and safety. With 2048 Wh, you can easily cruise for hours.

ePropulsion E-Series Battery E40 Space-saving and long lifespan

The ePropulsion E40 is a LiFePO4 battery, which is about 30% lighter than average lead-acid batteries, but offers approximately 50% more usable capacity. Furthermore, LiFePO4 batteries have a much longer lifespan. They can handle up to 3,000 charge cycles, while lead-acid batteries can only handle about 300–500 charge cycles.

Besides the E40, ePropulsion offers two other battery options: the E80 with 4096Wh and the E175 with 8960Wh. Larger batteries allow you to sail even further. All E-series batteries use the same charger.

Why choose an ePropulsion E40 battery instead of a third-party battery? ePropulsion batteries are designed for maximum efficiency, performance, and safety. Our communication cable does not permit the use of third-party batteries. This cable provides accurate data to the meter and transmits useful information that guarantees safety and performance. Third-party batteries are not always capable of this. Can I use third-party chargers for an E-Series E40 battery? No. Third-party chargers are not permitted for warranty reasons. Can I connect E-series batteries of different ages in parallel? No. They must be the same models of the same age. That's because otherwise you'd be running different battery management systems and different cell configurations together. What is the Communications Terminator used for? It improves signal quality. Without the communication terminator, the E-series batteries will not work in a parallel connection. See the last product in the cables and cable accessories group. Be sure to purchase this tool before making a parallel connection. How do I switch the E-series batteries on and off in parallel connection? Always turn the main battery on/off first, then the secondary battery. Doing this the other way around can cause damage and reduce usable capacity.
