The Xtreme series is an industrial solution for energy storage. Firstly, the series uses a real pure lead (99.9%) battery, which can withstand high temperatures. In addition, there is an integrated resistance measurement and the series can be used for a maximum of 8/10 units in parallel. However, there are some notes that are important when using the Xtreme series. Monitoring is important and the series is only suitable for systems with SOC monitoring. The system design is 50% DOD with a maximum discharge of 70%. If the discharge falls below 80%, the battery is damaged. The Xtreme VR series represents the highest level of today's pure lead acid batteries in AGM technology and leads in energy and power density for lead acid storage technologies. They are ideal for use as a UPS battery in data centers, backup batteries in telecom applications or in small ESS systems.
