This LittelFuse 50A MIDI fuse (12-24V) is specifically designed for systems with a system voltage of up to 12-24V. MIDI is a model designation, and MIDI fuse holders correspond to this fuse model. Caution: Fuses for 12-24V may not be used in 48V systems, and vice versa. The specified voltage rating must be adhered to; therefore, 12-24V fuses should only be used with systems up to a system voltage of 12-24V. The voltage range indicated on the fuse is important to ensure safety for use within the fuse's appropriate characteristics. Fuse certification is based on these ratings. Fuse status: When excessive current flows due to a short circuit or overload, the fuse wire melts, interrupting the circuit.
