Combining HE batteries with one of the master units creates a powerful system for a full range of applications with a system voltage of 25.5V to 144V and a capacity of 2.5 kWh to 720 kWh. This is an intelligent electronic module (slave BMS) that measures all cell voltages and temperatures to control balancing at both the battery cell and module level. The battery modules communicate via a galvanically isolated CAN bus with the MG Master LV or HV (master BMS), which collects and monitors the status of all battery modules. If the measured values ​​of a battery module exceed the limit, the MG Master automatically takes action to protect the connected battery modules. Battery Management Controllers: Protecting, monitoring, and controlling a battery system is crucial for creating a safe, reliable, and user-friendly system. The MG Master LV or HV is the battery system's safety and control unit. It protects the connected battery modules against overcharging, excessive discharging, overtemperature, and undertemperature, and manages battery cell balancing. In addition to its safety function, the MG Master LV or HV monitors and tracks other key parameters to provide insight into battery status and energy consumption. Its compact design makes it ideal for use in space-constrained applications. M12 and RJ45 Connections: Communication connections between the batteries and the master unit can be established using either economical RJ45 cables or more robust M12 cables. Both options are available up to 96 V. Above 96 V, only the M12 option is available.
