MG LFP SC battery 12.8V 210Ah/2.7kWh RJ45 Smartconnect
The MG Lithium-Ion LFP 12.8V/210Ah/2700Wh RJ45 is based on LiFePo4 technology. This battery is only suitable for 12V applications and cannot be connected in series. System flexibility is a key feature of all MG products. By combining LFP batteries in parallel with one of the master units, a powerful system is created for a full range of applications with a system voltage of 12.8V and a capacity of 2.5 kWh to 720 kWh. In this model, CAN bus communication between the battery and the BMS master unit is achieved via RJ45 cables. Applications: > Marine: electric propulsion and aux. Combining the LFP series batteries with the MG Master BMS creates a compact system with less wiring and external components. The MG Master LV combines battery monitoring and control, DC distribution, fuse box, and shunt into a single device. Safety: Each battery module comes with an integrated Battery Management System (BMS). This is an intelligent electronic module (slave BMS) that measures all cell voltages and temperatures to control balancing at both the battery cell and module level. The battery modules communicate via a galvanically isolated CAN bus with the MG Master LV (master BMS), which collects and monitors the status of all battery modules. If the measured values of a battery module exceed the limit, the MG Master automatically takes action to protect the connected battery modules. Battery management controllers: Protecting, monitoring, and controlling a battery system is crucial for creating a safe, reliable, and user-friendly system. The MG Master LV is the safety and control unit of the battery system. It protects the connected battery modules against overcharging, excessive discharging, overtemperature, undertemperature, and manages battery cell balancing. In addition to its safety function, the MG Master LV or HV monitors and tracks other key parameters to provide insight into battery status and energy consumption. Its compact design makes it ideal for use in space-constrained applications. M12 and RJ45 connections: Communication connections between the batteries and the master unit can be established using both economical RJ45 cables and more robust M12 cables. Both options are available up to 96 V. Above 96 V, only the M12 option is available.
