The ASM-5A is a vibration sensor module for automatically switching on and off equipment in vehicles based on "engine running" detection by measuring engine vibrations. The module can be mounted anywhere (dry) in the vehicle, including the cargo area. The only requirement is that the surface on which the module is mounted has undamped contact with the vehicle's chassis or body.
