Responsible, versatile, and lightweight, the TEMO 450 benefits both boaters and the environment.
TEMO electric outboard motors are designed to meet all requirements, allowing you to maneuver a dinghy in the harbor or at anchor without straining your body or mind!
Weighing less than 5 kg and with a unique design that combines motor, battery and control unit, the TEMO 450 is practical and ultra-compact.
Whether you're on your bike or on a boat, you can easily take it with you wherever you go in the protective carrying bag.
Extremely simple, the TEMO 450 is designed for all uses thanks to its telescopic size (from 130 to 170 cm) and its multi-position AMBIDEXTROUS HANDLE, which guarantees your well-being and complete control in all situations.
With a simple design that belies its technical expertise, the TEMO 450 meets essential needs and also allows you to perform all your manoeuvres with one hand or even with just one finger.
With its 450W motor and optimized efficiency, the TEMO 450 delivers 200W of propulsion power, allowing you to propel your boat in currents of up to 3 knots. With a depth of just 20cm, you can also approach any shoreline and beach your dinghy without risk of damage.
Need more power? Discover the new TEMO 1000.
No complicated assembly or installation required. Whether you hold it by hand or use a single oarlock (fixed or removable), the TEMO 450 can be used on multiple vessels and in all waters (even the shallowest).
The TEMO 450 is extremely robust and can propel sailboats up to 500 kg or 2.5 m tenders with two or three people on board.
Practical and ELECTRIC! With the TEMO 450, you don't need to remove the battery to charge it. Simply plug it directly into a 220V, 12V, or 24V outlet and enjoy an hour of cruising speed. Enough to handle all your daily trips, so you can head ashore or back to your boat with peace of mind.
The TEMO 450 is not only an environmentally friendly solution with no direct emissions, but also made in France, between Brittany and the PAYS DE LA LOIRE region. Supported by the know-how of the very best local partners and the industry, TEMO develops with a responsible and quality commitment.

Please note that TEMO also comes with a rowlock attachment that allows you to secure TEMO on board and avoid any risk of falling into the water.
Of course!
Even though TEMO is very light and easy to carry in the transport bag, it can also be left on your boat.
TEMO offers an anti-theft system ( available in our accessories ) to secure TEMO when you are away.
Also note that TEMO has a magnetic safety key that acts as a circuit breaker. Without the key the engine cannot start.
If you currently use the oar or a small engine (equivalent or less than 2 HP) for your dinghy trips then TEMO is a perfect fit.
Temo 450 is 3 times more powerful than a single person can row. In general, TEMO will be able to propel boats up to 2m50 with 2-3 people on board and loaded with equipment.
If you are still unsure, please contact us!
The speed of TEMO can be adjusted by pressing the trigger. If you hold the trigger down, you have up to 42 minutes of autonomy. And up to 80 minutes at half speed.
Advantages of electric motors? In summary: Clean, quiet, low-maintenance, reliable, practical, super strong and very predictable and controllable range. Knowing more? be sure to read our blog post about electric sailing and then our practical experiences with these beautiful products.
| Inboard engines: | These are engines that are built into the boat to replace, for example, an existing marine diesel or to drive a sloop with a built-in engine. Propulsion is via a propeller shaft and the engine is usually placed along the length of the boat. |
| Outboard engines: | These are engines that are attached to the rear (transom) of the boat. These motors are more flexible because they are easily accessible and removable. When there is a voltage of 24 volts or higher, we call it an outboard motor. |
| Whisper engines: | Whisper motors are the lighter brother of the outboard motor with a voltage below 24 volts. They are often powered by an external 12V battery. |
| Pods: | These engines are mounted under the boat . This has the great advantage that the engine does not take up any space in the boat and is not visible on the outside of the boat. |
| Watercraft: | Our water scooter is an electrically powered swimming board. When used the other way around, it is also a double water cannon. This is not only a fun toy for small children, but also a very useful tool for less mobile swimmers. |
| SUP engine: | Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is becoming increasingly popular, but is also a strenuous sport. By equipping the SUP with an auxiliary motor, covering large distances becomes a lot easier. Be sure to read our test of the ePropulsion Vaquita SUP motor . |
| Canoe or kayak motor: | Just like for the SUP, we also supply supporting motors for kayak and canoe. |
