Overview The Shelly Pro 3EM‑400 is a next-generation DIN-rail 3-phase energy meter for professional integrations. According to Shelly, the meter supports LAN/Wi-Fi and can operate independently in a local network or communicate via MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket, with incoming connections supporting TLS. Configuration and monitoring can be performed via a built-in web interface. What does the Pro 3EM‑400 measure (real-time)? The meter reports accumulated energy and real-time per-phase voltage, current, active power, and apparent power. This variant can measure up to 400 A per phase as well as neutral and comes with 3× 400A (CT) measuring coils. Four-quadrant measurement & PV-compatible The Pro 3EM‑400 is an advanced energy meter with four-quadrant measurement, allowing electricity flow to be measured in four different directions and shapes. Unlike a standard meter that only records consumption, this meter maps both active and reactive energy, for both consumption and feed-in. Additionally, the Pro 3EM‑400 is PV-compatible. Phase sequence error detection is optional. This energy meter has accuracy class B for active energy according to IEC 62053‑21. Data logging: 60 days local (1 minute) + real‑time clock. Measurement data is stored in non-volatile memory and can be retrieved over a period of up to 60 days at 1-minute intervals. The built-in real‑time clock monitors the timestamps when the SNTP time source fails.
