When using ABS products such as spoilers and roof feed-throughs, it is recommended to use Sikaflex 552 AT in combination with Sika Aktivator 205 30ml for reliable adhesion. Solar panel spoiler set HSE/Z (4) black Four black corner spoilers made of solid ABS for aerodynamically mounting a solar panel on a vehicle, camper, caravan, or boat roof. Gluing instead of drilling: no roof feed-through, no risk of leakage, and no wind noise while driving or sailing. No screws penetrate the roof skin, so there are no penetrations that will start leaking after years. Aerodynamic profile The upward spoiler shape directs the airflow over the panel. This reduces wind noise, limits tensile forces on the adhesive seam, and keeps air resistance low. Convenient for mixed stock or replacing an existing panel. Installation sequence * Sand the roof surface and the adhesive surface of the corner piece and ensure they are completely free of dust, grease, and silicone. * Apply adhesion primer and allow it to air dry. * Apply construction adhesive and position the corner pieces. Do not introduce tension, bending, or torsion into the system. * Cure according to the adhesive specification. Do not move the vehicle during this period. * Pre-drill the panel frame with a 4.5 mm drill bit and secure the panel to the corner pieces with the supplied 4.2 x 40 mm stainless steel screws. Note: ABS requires a suitable adhesive and adhesion primer. Reliable adhesion cannot be guaranteed without pre-treatment of the bonding surfaces.
