This semi flexible monocrystalline 120Wp solar panel is ideal if mounting on a curved surface is necessary. This solar panel has a voltage (PMAX) of 39.7V, and is therefore also suitable for 24V systems. With this model of solar panels, the cells are sandwiched by metal grilles, which offer optimum support on both sides. While bending these panels, fine wire mesh connections ensure that the individual solar cells are connected to each other with many contact points. Due to the flexibility, the panels are suitable for curved surfaces such as on yachts, boats (Biminis), delivery vans and campers. Application of a bypass diode box (Solar5005050):> Bypass diodes are only necessary when solar panels with flush cables are switched in series. > In all other circumstances it is not necessary to apply bypass diodes. This has no influence on the performance of the solar system, nor on the warranty of the individual solar panels.
