Torqeedo Power 24-3500 Battery: For all Torqeedo Cruise 24V models
The Torqeedo Power 24-3500 is an innovative lithium battery for Torqeedo electric outboard motors. The Torqeedo Power 24-3500 is designed for Cruise 2.0 and 3.0. For example, the Torqeedo Power 24-3500 features a special plug-and-play function for use with the Cruise onboard computer. Weighing only 25.3 kg, the Torqeedo Power 24-3500 is easy to take anywhere. Like other lithium batteries, the Torqeedo Power 24-3500 also features a BMS: Battery Management System. This intelligent system continuously measures voltage, current in and out, and temperature. This ensures optimal charging, discharging, and cooling of the battery, ensuring a long battery life. Furthermore, the Torqeedo Power 24-3500 is equipped with water sensor protection. This protection automatically shuts off the battery power if water enters. This option is purely a safety measure and is not required, as the Torqeedo Power Series 24-3500 has a fully waterproof housing and plug connection. It's no wonder the battery has an IP67 rating. This means the Torqeedo Power 24-3500 is dust- and water-resistant, even if briefly submerged in water up to a meter deep. Lithium batteries offer additional protection. Each battery cell is protected by a steel cylinder and equipped with multiple hardware safety mechanisms. The batteries in the Torqeedo Power 24-3500 are considered high-performance lithium batteries.

More capacity in the same housing
For the Cruise motorcycles, the Power 26-104 lithium battery has been replaced by the new Power 24-3500 battery. This 24-volt Lithium NMC battery shows a spectacular increase in capacity: from 2.7 kWh to 3.5 kWh in the same housing, with a weight increase of only 800 grams. This means the capacity increases by 30%, the weight by only 3%, the volume remains the same, and the price per watt-hour decreases by 7.5%. The name of this battery has also been changed to align with that of the 48-volt Power 48-5000
Power Battery Applications
The Torqeedo Lithium Power Battery 24-3500 is the ideal lithium battery for a Torqeedo Cruise or other electric outboard motor. It can also be used for other onboard power supplies. The 24-3500 communicates with Torqeedo Cruise motors via a data cable. This is only possible with Cruise motors. On 24-volt motors (such as the Torqeedo Cruise 2.0), one unit is sufficient for sailing. On 48-volt motors, however, you need two units (connected in series).
