NEW: Torqeedo Travel 903
To celebrate the success of its Travel motors, Torqeedo is temporarily releasing the Travel 903. This model represents the best that current Travel motors have to offer: the lightest and quietest in its class, with the power of the 1103, but with a longer range and a more competitive price. Thanks to an adjusted RPM and a more efficient propeller, you can sail over 10% longer on the 915 watt-hour battery! The unique design with black elements makes the motor recognizable as a special Travel. This model is available in short-shaft and long-shaft versions and is a limited edition, while supplies last. The Torqeedo Travel 603 and 1103 are the most successful electric outboard motors worldwide due to their advanced technology, efficiency, and user-friendliness. The Torqeedo Travel 1103 is the most powerful motor in the Torqeedo Travel series.
Powerful and efficient
The high torque and specially designed large propeller make the Travel motors the most efficient in their class. Thanks to the rapid engine response, you'll feel the power immediately upon launch.
The silent force
The whisper-quiet motor and direct drive ensure the lowest possible noise level, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet on the water even more.
Sailing even longer
With an extra battery, you can go even further. They're quick and easy to swap out while on the go.
Important: the quality of the battery
Inside a lithium battery are a large number of cells. Their quality determines the final result, lifespan, and power output. Torqeedo uses strong, individually welded, high-quality cylindrical cells. They offer multiple protection and are equipped with an advanced battery management system (BMS). This is a significant difference compared to cheaper and more fragile pouch cell batteries, such as those used in mobile phones and laptops. These types of batteries are much more sensitive to heat, vibration, and shock than the cells used in our Torqeedo batteries.
Torqeedo Travel 1103: The lightest in its class
A complete Torqeedo Travel 603 weighs just 15.5kg, and the battery even floats! The powerful Torqeedo Travel 1103 still weighs just 17.3kg. This makes both motors easy to install and transport or store. The battery and throttle are easily removed and everything fits into two handy and attractive bags.
Sustainable also means: made in Europe
All Torqeedo products are designed and manufactured in Germany. With reliable German engineering, they ensure a long service life. This is also sustainable: short transport routes from the factory to you, the customer.
This makes the Torqeedo Travel 1103 unique: Built-in GPS module
The display shows not only the battery condition, power, and remaining cruising time, but also GPS speed and range. Via an optional Bluetooth transmitter and the free app, you can also see all this and the map position on your smartphone.
This is what makes the Torqeedo Travel 1103 handy: The USB adapter
With the optional USB adapter plugged into the battery's charging port, you'll have instant power on board. This makes it easy to charge your smartphone, camera, or lights.
This makes the Torqeedo Travel 1103 even greener: Versatile charging
A 220V charger adapter is included as standard, allowing you to charge the battery at home or in the harbor. Alternatively, you can use the special 12V cable for the mains power supply of a mothership. For an even more sustainable charge, use the optional 50W foldable solar panel, which connects directly to the battery.

The right engine for a particular boat also depends on the sailing area. A lighter engine can be used for sailing in sheltered waters and for shorter distances than for open water. The above is a guideline for determining your choice. Feel free to contact us

Protect, operate and charge
Several accessories are available for the Torqeedo Travel motors to make them even easier to use. These include a practical set of bags for easy transport, or a remote control that allows you to operate the motor from the boat's cockpit. This is convenient for sailors with an aft deck. There are also several charging options. In addition to the standard 220V charger, you can also use the optional 12V charging cable to charge via the mothership's onboard electrical system. For even more sustainable charging, you can purchase the 50W folding solar panel as an accessory. This connects directly to the battery and can even charge while sailing.
