This NEW TS Temp CAN bus temperature sensor is an accessory specially developed for all TS Buck/Boost converter models. The temperature is transmitted to the TS converter via a communication cable through the CAN bus communication ports. The TS Temp can also be used with any Victron Multi or Quattro. This allows the charge current to be regulated when the temperature is too low. For LiFePO4 lithium systems, this sensor is essential in many system applications, as LiFePO4 batteries should not be charged when they are too cold. Charging lithium batteries at or below freezing will cause permanent damage to the cells.
