Victron AGM Battery 12V/38Ah Super Cycle battery with an M5 insert connection. The AGM series, thanks to its very low internal resistance, is ideal for high-current applications, such as inverters, bow thrusters, and winches. Victron AGM batteries are sealed batteries based on VRLA technology. VRLA stands for Valve Regulated Lead Acid. Gas will only escape through a safety valve if incorrect charging and/or damaged cells occur. By using only pure materials and lead-calcium plates, Victron Energy batteries have a very low self-discharge rate, preventing them from discharging, even if left uncharged for extended periods. The battery connections are made of copper with holes for M8 bolts to ensure good contact. Crimped cable lugs can be mounted directly onto the battery, eliminating the need for battery terminals. The batteries meet both European CE and US UL specifications in fire-resistant ABS enclosures and come with Victron Energy's 2-year worldwide warranty.
