The BMV-700H battery monitor measures with very high precision within a supply voltage range of 60 – 385 VDC. The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate the battery status and the number of ampere hours consumed. The BMV-700H battery monitor optionally displays battery voltage, current, ampere hours consumed, remaining battery capacity and time remaining. These last two parameters ensure that you can read the remaining battery capacity as precisely as on a petrol pump. An advanced backlight LCD screen clearly shows all values. Battery 'fuel gauge', remaining time indication and much more. The remaining battery capacity depends on the ampere hours used, the discharge current, the temperature and the age of the battery. Complex software algorithms are needed to take all these variables into account. In addition to the main display options such as voltage, current and ampere-hours consumed, the BMV-700 series also indicates charging status, time remaining and power consumption in watts. The BMV-702 has an additional input that can be programmed to measure voltage (or a second battery), temperature or midpoint voltage (see below). Bluetooth Smart Use the Bluetooth Smart dongle to monitor your batteries with Apple or Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other devices. Easy to install All electrical connections are made via the printed circuit board with quick coupling on the current shunt. The shunt connects to the monitor with a standard RJ12 telephone cable. Included: RJ 12 cable (10m) and battery cable with fuse (2m); no further parts are needed. Also included is a separate ring for the appearance of the front of a square or round display, a retaining ring for rear mounting and screws for front mounting. Easy to program (with your smartphone!) A quick installation menu and a detailed setup menu with scrolling texts help the user navigate through the various settings.
