Victron Cyrix Lithium charge relay 12/24V-230A
This Cyrix-Li-charge 230A battery separator for 12V and 24V systems is a microprocessor-controlled relay with a maximum current of 230A for connecting systems with a LiFePO4 battery when the control input voltage becomes 'free floating'. The Cyrix-Li-Charge connects to a battery charger with a 3-second delay: – when the charge disconnect output voltage of the VE.Bus BMS is high, and – when 13.7V (resp. 27.4V) or more is measured at the charger's connection terminal, and – when 2V or more is measured at the battery terminal (the Cyrix remains open when not connected to the battery). The Cyrix-Li-Charge disconnects immediately as soon as the control input voltage becomes 'free floating', which indicates cell overvoltage or cell overtemperature. Generally, a cell overvoltage alarm is reset shortly after charging stops. The Cyrix reconnects the charger after a 3-second delay. After 2 reconnect attempts with a 3-second delay, the delay increases to 10 minutes. If the battery voltage is lower than 13.5V (resp. 27V), the Cyrix disconnects with a 1-hour delay. Note 1: In the event of zero discharge current or a very low discharge current, the Cyrix will not disconnect shortly after the charger is switched off and/or disconnected, because the battery voltage remains higher than 13.5V (resp. 27V). Note 2: If, after the Cyrix has been disconnected, the charger output voltage immediately rises to 13.5V (resp. 27V) or more, the Cyrix will reconnect with a 3-second delay.
