The Cyrix-Li-load 120A battery separator is a microprocessor controlled relay for a maximum current of 120A for disconnecting systems with a LiFePO4 battery when the control input voltage becomes 'free floating'. The Cyrix-Li load disconnects when the control input voltage becomes 'free floating'. If the battery voltage recovers after disconnection (this happens when no other loads are connected to the battery), the BMS output voltage rises to a high value and the Cyrix reconnects after 30 seconds. After 3 pairing attempts, the Cyrix remains disconnected until the battery voltage has risen to more than 13V (resp. 26V) for at least 30 seconds (which means the battery is being charged). Alternatively, a BatteryProtect can be used (advantage: very low energy consumption).
