The Cyrix-Li-load 120A battery separator is a microprocessor-controlled relay with a maximum current of 120A for disconnecting systems with a LiFePO4 battery when the control input voltage becomes free-floating. The Cyrix-Li-load disconnects when the control input voltage becomes free-floating. If the battery voltage recovers after disconnection (this happens if no other loads are connected to the battery), the BMS output voltage rises to a high value and the Cyrix reconnects after 30 seconds. After three attempts to reconnect, the Cyrix remains disconnected until the battery voltage has risen to above 26V (or 52V) for at least 30 seconds (meaning the battery is being charged). Alternatively, a BatteryProtect can be used (advantage: very low energy consumption).
