The Victron GlobalLink 520 LTE-M is connected to Victron devices via one of the two VE.Direct ports, which exchange data with the online Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal in the cloud via an LTE-M SIM card and module. This data is then processed by a software application with the aim of performing a specific action, such as sending an alert or notification or automatically adjusting a sensor or device without user intervention. If user intervention is necessary, or if the user wants to view the system, a VRM portal can take care of this. Simple system monitoring and control The GlobalLink 520 features two VE.Direct ports that allow you to connect up to two VE.Direct devices, such as a BMV Battery Monitor and/or an MPPT Solar Charge Controller, directly to the VRM. With two digital inputs, which also serve as pulse counters and a remote-controlled relay, it is a perfect solution to monitor and control your installation. Built-in Antenna The GlobalLink 520 comes with a built-in antenna designed to work all over the world. However, if you want better reception or want to install your module in a van, for example, it is also possible to mount an external antenna. Victron remote management The online Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal gives you access to your installation anywhere and anytime.
