The VE.Direct TX digital output cable is designed for use with BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT chargers. This cable is required for the following applications: Lighting applications The cable is designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems. The ability to dim the lighting as needed significantly reduces energy consumption. Lower energy consumption reduces overall system costs. It also increases lighting availability, even with a partially charged battery in low sunlight. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of an MPPT charger to the PWM dimmer input of an LED driver. Virtual voltage output The cable is designed to add voltage output functionality to larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and larger) that do not have a voltage output. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of an MPPT charger to a battery protection device or solid state relay to switch the voltage on or off.
