With Robbie to Hiswa 2024

Hiswa 2024: a first for Robust-MT and a first for our Robbie

HISWA 2024. Thanks to our friends at De Stille Boot, HISWA in-water boat show for the first time this year . From August 28th to September 1st, we were guests at the beautiful Bataviahaven in Lelystad. Check out our summary first.

Hiswa 2024 was a huge success for us, but also a very educational experience. First of all, it was a fantastic event and superbly organized. The weather was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and our Robbie was very much in the spotlight as the smallest and most affordable electric sloop at the show.

The preparations also went smoothly, and we were so glad we'd brought the boat back on Sunday. After Sunday, September 1st, it looked like it would be a night shift, but that actually went very smoothly. We arrived home with the boat around 10:00 PM, which we really didn't expect.

Next year we will participate again and then we will do a few things differently:

Driving up and down is impossible, next time we'll stay nearby
It is recommended to bring your own food, 5 days of festival food is bad for your intestines and wallet
We handed out stacks of business cards, but we should have registered a fraction of that number of phone numbers

Robust-MT Marine Technology BV is located in Monster , on the edge of the water-rich Westland region . Situated in South Holland, between Rotterdam and The Hague, but also near Delft and the North Sea, our showroom and workshop are also located on a main waterway. We also have a mooring on the Haringvliet, near Zeeland, where we can also conduct sea trials. We also collaborate with a renowned yacht builder and shipyard in Woubrugge, near Amsterdam and North Holland. This location also has its own marina, a large crane, and both heated and unheated hangars.
