Electric Hybrid 2023 - Less Worth It Than Last Year
Last year, Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe 2022 was . We were incredibly impressed by this new market. We thought we already knew a great deal about electrification in recreational boating. This was a real eye-opener; there was a whole world to discover. Our experience in 2023 was different.
The show was initially much quieter than last year. We remembered it being enormous, but now, with Boot Düsseldorf and Metstrade still fresh in our minds, we weren't impressed at all. We'd practically seen the entire show in an hour and a half. Lots of familiar products, and what was "new" mostly gave the impression of being prototypes and concepts.
Worth it
A fair like this in Amsterdam is great, but was it worth 1.5 hours?
Torqeedo 's products, which we have a request for. We had an extensive chat with our friends at ePropulsion and Drinkwaard Marine , and we also had a pleasant stay with TopSystems , our supplier for everything from shore power to propulsion, with a warm welcome and good coffee. In short, it was worth it in terms of networking, but we might make a different choice next year.
