EasyPlus 12/1600/70-16 Compact Applications One device instead of a separate inverter, charger, transfer switch, and distribution board. Intended for campers, boats, or holiday homes where you want a complete 230 V system without building your own switch cabinet: connect, switch on the RCD, and you're done. Four functions in one housing A 1600 VA pure sine wave inverter, a four-step adaptive battery charger, an ultra-fast AC transfer switch, and a complete AC distribution board. Battery cables and a temperature sensor are included; all AC connections are plug connections. Built-in AC distribution board A 30 mA / 16 A RCD and four AC outputs, protected by two 10 A and two 16 A circuit breakers. One 16 A output is controlled by the AC input and is only active as long as shore or generator power is available: suitable for a water heater or air conditioning unit that must not discharge the battery bank. PowerAssist Set the available shore or generator power on the control panel. If consumption exceeds this limit, the battery bank supplements the deficit to prevent the connection from failing. As soon as the load drops, the surplus is used for charging. Interruptible Switching If the shore power or generator fails, the inverter takes over the power supply without interruption, ensuring connected equipment continues to operate. Battery Charger Four-step adaptive charging with a charging current of 70 A for the battery bank, plus a trickle charge of 4 A for the starter battery. The charging algorithm can be adapted using VEConfigure for lead-acid, AGM, gel, and lithium batteries, among others. Installation in five steps * Place the mounting bracket as close as possible to the battery bank and secure the unit. * Connect the shore or generator input and the outgoing circuits. * Connect the optional control panel using a UTP patch cable. * Connect the battery cables and temperature sensor to the battery bank. * Switch on the RCD, circuit breaker, and inverter/charger. Configuration and monitoring. Set up with VEConfigure via the MK3 USB interface or with the VictronConnect app. In combination with a GX communication center, the system can be monitored and adjusted remotely in the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://vrm.victronenergy.com).
