The price of an electric sloop depends on length, battery capacity, motor power, and model. A compact model requires a lower initial investment than a larger, luxury electric sloop. Due to lower energy costs and less maintenance, the total operating costs can turn out to be more favorable compared to fuel-powered boats.
The runtime depends on battery capacity, speed, load, and conditions. On average, you can sail for 6 to 10 hours with normal use. Gentler cruising significantly increases the range.
For most electric sloops, a boating license is not required. The obligation only applies at speeds above 20 km/h or lengths exceeding 15 meters. Most models in our range remain well below these limits. We would be happy to inform you about the specific regulations for the model of your choice.
