EasySolar-II 48/6k5/100-50 MPPT 250/100 GX
EasySolar-II 48/6k5/100-50 MPPT 250/100 GX Applications 6 kW continuous, 6.5 kW for three hours, and 11 kW peak: the heaviest model in this series, with a 100 A battery charger and up to 5800 Wp of solar panels. One pre-wired unit that allows a home or commercial building to run entirely on battery and solar power. * Home battery and ESS installations with a full PV roof * Off-grid homes, commercial buildings, and project sites on 48 V * Backup systems where critical groups must continue operating during a power outage * Installations with a limited or expensive grid connection * Setups in hot technical rooms or meter cabinets What's inside the cabinet * MultiPlus-II inverter/battery charger 48/6k5/100-50 * SmartSolar MPPT 250/100-Tr solar charger, with the DC output wired in parallel with the inverter * GX device with a 2 x 16 character display, which controls the MultiPlus-II via VE.Bus and the MPPT via VE.Direct * The MultiPlus-II's on/off switch also controls the solar charger Power * 6 kW continuous at 25 °C, 5.7 kW at 40 and 55 °C, 4.6 kW at 65 °C * 6.5 kW for three hours and 8 kW for one hour during cold start * 11 kW peak power for one minute * Output voltage 230 VAC ±2%, frequency 50 Hz ±0.1%, adjustable to 60 Hz * Maximum feed-in capacity 6 kW * Maximum efficiency 96% * No-load power 25 W, 14 W in AES mode, 7 W in search mode PowerControl and PowerAssist Changeover switch and maximum AC input current 50 A. PowerControl limits the mains current drawn; PowerAssist provides supplementation as soon as the connection or the generator falls short. Connect circuits that may be switched off in the event of a power outage to the 32 A auxiliary output; these are included when limiting the input current. Battery charger * AC input 187 – 265 VAC, 45 – 65 Hz * Maximum charging current 100 A at 25 °C, 95 A at 40 °C * Absorption 57.6 V, trickle charge 55.2 V, storage mode 52.8 V * Suitable for lithium, lead-acid, zinc-bromine, and other chemicals, provided the charger is configured according to the battery manufacturer * Battery temperature sensor optional, item number ASS000001000 * Programmable relay for general alarm, DC undervoltage, or generator start; 230 V / 4 A AC, 4 A up to 35 VDC and 1 A up to 60 VDC SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 * Maximum charging current 100 A * Maximum 5800 Wp PV power, maximum PV open-circuit voltage 250 V * Maximum efficiency 99 %, self-consumption 20 mA * PV connection on M6 bolts, so with cable lugs instead of MC4 connectors * Note: at low temperatures, the open-circuit voltage of a string with many cells can exceed 250 V; in that case, short the string in GX device and monitoring * 2 x 16 character display for battery, inverter, and solar charger data * Wi-Fi for reading and configuring via smartphone or tablet * BMS-CAN for a managed CAN-bus lithium system; Note: this is not a VE.Can port * USB port, Ethernet port, VE.Direct port and two general purpose ports * Access to the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://www.victronenergy.com/panel-systems-remote-monitoring/vrm) for remote monitoring, changing settings, and email alarms Self-consumption and feed-in With the external AC current sensor or an energy meter, the system controls for self-consumption, and feed-in can be limited or blocked. In the event of a power outage, the unit disconnects from the grid, while critical groups continue to operate. Connection and mounting * Input voltage range 38 – 60 V * Battery connection on M8 bolts, PV on M6 bolts, 230 V on screw terminals up to 16 mm² * All connections accessible by removing the base plate * Remote on/off connection available * Protected against short circuit, overload, over- and under-battery voltage, and excessive temperature * Steel housing, protection degree IP21; dry, well-ventilated installation as close as possible to the battery bank * Operating temperature -20 to +65 °C with fan cooling, maximum installation altitude 2000 m Can be ordered directly The battery temperature sensor is optional (ASS000001000). The external 100 A current sensor is required to use PowerControl, PowerAssist, and self-consumption control with external measurement. For configuration via PC, the MK3-USB VE.Bus-to-USB interface is required: see Installation > Interface (https://shop.top.systems/installatie/interface/). You can find energy meters under Installation > Energy meters (https://shop.top.systems/installatie/energiemeters/), solar panels and PV cabling under Solar power > Solar panels (https://shop.top.systems/zonnestroom/zonnepanelen/) and Cables > Solar (https://shop.top.systems/installatie/kabels/solar/), and a DC fuse with holder under Fuses (https://shop.top.systems/beveiligen-schakelen/zekeringen/).
