GX Touch 50 Protective Cover Victron GX Touch 50 Protective Cover Protective cover by Victron Energy for the GX Touch 50 display. The cover shields the screen against water, dust, and UV radiation, thus preventing damage from prolonged exposure to the sun. The cover is placed over the mounted display and can be easily removed again. Applications A display in full sun discolors and greys over time — which is a waste of a screen that otherwise lasts for years. This cover keeps out sun, rain, and dust when the system is not being read, and can be removed in an instant whenever necessary. This item is the standalone version, intended as a replacement or for older displays that were supplied without a cover. Please note: The cover fits only the surface-mount version of the display. It does not fit the GX Touch 50 Flush: that version is flush-mounted and has an IP65 front that already protects against dust and splashes.
