MultiPlus 12/1600/70-16 Applications Ideal for motorhomes, boats, service vans, and compact backup installations where a single unit must supplement limited shore or grid power and reliably recharge the battery bank. Also suitable as an uninterruptible emergency power supply in the event of a power outage. Inversion and charging in a single device Pure sine wave inverter, adaptive four-stage charger, and fast AC transfer switch in a single housing. Continuous power 1300 W at 25 °C, 1100 W at 40 °C, and 800 W at 65 °C, with a peak power of 2800 W. Charging of house and starter battery * House battery charging current 70 A, starter battery charging current 1 A * Absorption 14.4 V, trickle 13.8 V, storage mode 13.2 V * Battery temperature sensor included as standard Uninterruptible switching If the grid or shore power fails, the inverter takes over the connected load within 20 milliseconds. Computers and other electronics continue to operate uninterrupted. PowerControl Set the maximum shore or generator current. The device takes other consumers into account and uses only the remaining current to charge, ensuring the connection does not become overloaded. PowerAssist If the available shore or generator current is briefly too low, the inverter immediately replenishes from the battery bank. When the load drops again, the surplus is used for recharging. High Startup Power Required to start consumers with a high inrush current, such as power supplies for LED lighting, halogen lamps, and electric hand tools. Search Mode With Search Mode enabled, no-load consumption drops from 10 W to approximately 3 W. The device switches itself off at no or very low load and tests every two seconds whether power is being requested again. Programmable Relay Set as an alarm relay by default: the relay trips in the event of an alarm or pre-alarm, for example due to excessive temperature, too much ripple voltage on the input, or low battery voltage. Load capacity 230 V/4 A AC and 4 A up to 35 VDC. Parallel and 3-phase operation. Up to six units can be connected in parallel.
