MultiPlus 12/2000/80-30 Compact

MultiPlus 12/2000/80-30 Compact The MultiPlus C 12/2000/80 is a combination of a powerful pure sine wave inverter with a capacity of 2000 VA (1600 Watts), an advanced battery charger with 80 Ampere adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact metal housing. This MultiPlus is supplied without the required 70mm² cables and features M8 bolts for battery connection. All MultiPlus models in this series feature PowerControl and PowerAssist functionality. All models are also suitable for three-phase and parallel connection. This model has a maximum transfer current of 30A. Victron Energy inverter/battery chargers are designed for professional use. They are suitable for a wide range of devices with high and low starting power requirements. The MultiPlus is a multifunctional energy system comprising a sine wave inverter, battery charger, and AC transfer switch. Batteries are charged safely, even when the power supply quality is low. Proven reliability The full-bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven itself highly reliable for many years. The inverter is short-circuit protected and shields against overheating, regardless of whether this occurs as a result of overload or high ambient temperatures. PowerControl – Maximizing the use of limited generator, shore, or grid power With the Digital Multi Control control panel, a maximum generator or shore power can be set. The MultiPlus then takes other power consumers into account and uses only the remaining power for charging, ensuring the generator or shore connection does not become overloaded. PowerAssist – Do more with your generator or shore power Where peak power is often only needed briefly, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately supplemented with power from the battery. As the load decreases, the reserve power is used to recharge the battery. High starting power Required to start loads with high inrush current, such as voltage converters for LED lights, halogen lights, or power tools. Automatic and uninterrupted switching (UPS function) If the power fails or if the power supply from shore or a generator is interrupted, the inverter in the Multi is automatically activated to provide power to the connected loads. This happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices can continue to function undisturbed. Two AC outputs (the second output is only available on models of 3 kVA and up) The main output features uninterrupted functionality. The second auxiliary output switches off if no external AC source is available, and therefore only becomes active when AC voltage is available at the AC input of the MultiPlus. Heavy loads that must not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output. Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel connection Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel to deliver higher power. Power supply via three-phase or single-phase current is also possible. You can see which models have these capabilities and which do not on the datasheets. Three-phase connection In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output. But that is not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be connected in parallel for an inverter power of 75 kW / 90 kVA and a load capacity of more than 2000A. Search Mode When 'search mode' is enabled, the inverter's power consumption at no load is reduced by approx. 70%. 'Search mode' means that the Multi switches off when there is no load or when it is very low. The Multi will briefly switch on every 2 seconds. If the output current exceeds a set level, the inverter continues to operate. If not, the inverter switches off again. AES (Automatic Economy Switch) Instead of 'search mode', AES mode can also be selected. When this setting is enabled, power consumption at no load and low load is reduced by approx. 20% by slightly 'narrowing' the sinusoidal voltage. The AES mode is not configurable with DIP switches and is only applicable in a 'stand alone' configuration. Programmable relay The programmable relay is set as an alarm relay by default, meaning that the relay is de-energized in the event of an alarm or a pre-alarm (inverter almost too hot, input ripple voltage almost too high, battery voltage almost too low). Solar energy: AC power always available – even during a grid outage The MultiPlus can be used in both autonomous and grid-connected PV and other alternative energy systems. Software to detect loss of grid power is available. Monitoring and control locally or remotely – optional Monitor and control your MultiPlus system locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world with the free VRM app and the free VRM portal website. Access is possible for multiple control systems via a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC. Multiple options are available: Battery Monitor (BMV), Multi-control panel, Color Control GX and other GX communication devices, VE.Bus Smart Dongle for smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), and with an interface cable for laptop or PC (USB or RS232). The level of control, from adjusting the MultiPlus to setting up a Geofence for rental vehicles and more, is endless. To get an impression of the VRM (Victron Remote Management) website, visit: Victron Remote Management (https://vrm.victronenergy.com) and click on the 'Try Our Demo' button. Victron Remote Management (VRM) is a free service from Victron Energy for remotely monitoring electrical equipment worldwide. Configuration locally or remotely > If settings need to be changed in the case of a 'stand alone' application, this can be done within minutes via a DIP switch setup procedure. > Parallel and three-phase applications can be configured using the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software. > Autonomous, grid-interactive, and self-consumption applications, with inverters and/or MPPT solar chargers, can be configured with assistants (application-oriented software for specific applications). > If connected to Ethernet, systems with a Color Control GX and other GX communication devices are accessible and settings can be changed. Compact models 800VA – 5000VA The MultiPlus C models are available in power ratings of 800VA, 1200VA, 1600VA, and 3000VA in 12V and 24V voltage ratings, and 3000VA and 5000VA in 48V.
