MultiPlus 12/3000/120-50 Applications For 12 V installations with a shore power or generator connection up to 50 A: one device for inverting, charging, and transfer, with a second AC output for heavy consumers that must not drain the battery bank as soon as the shore power fails. Inverting and charging in one device Pure sine wave inverter, adaptive four-stage charger, and fast AC transfer switch in a single aluminum housing. Continuous power 2400 W at 25 °C, 2200 W at 40 °C, and 1700 W at 65 °C, with a peak power of 6000 W. Transferring up to 50 A The automatic transfer switch handles up to 50 A. This ensures that a heavier shore or generator connection remains fully available for the connected circuits, without an external transfer switch in between. Charging of house and starter battery * House battery charging current 120 A, starter battery charging current 4 A * Absorption 14.4 V, trickle 13.8 V, storage mode 13.2 V * Battery temperature sensor included as standard Two AC outputs The main output is uninterruptible. The auxiliary output switches off as soon as no external AC source is available and is therefore intended for heavy consumers such as a water heater, which must not discharge the battery bank. Uninterruptible switching In the event of a loss of mains, shore, or generator power, the inverter takes over the load within 20 milliseconds, allowing computers and other electronics to continue operating undisturbed. PowerControl Set the maximum shore or generator current via the control panel. The unit charges only with the current remaining alongside the other consumers, ensuring the connection does not become overloaded. PowerAssist Short-term peaks exceeding the shore or generator current are immediately replenished from the battery bank. If the load drops again, the surplus is used for recharging. Search Mode and AES * Search Mode reduces idle consumption from 20 W to approximately 8 W * AES (Automatic Economy Switch) reduces consumption at idle and low load to approximately 15 W * AES is only applicable in a stand-alone configuration Programmable relay Default configured as an alarm relay: the relay trips in the event of an alarm or pre-alarm, for example due to excessive temperature, excessive ripple voltage on the input, or low battery voltage. The relay can also be used for start/stop of a generator. Parallel and 3-phase operation Up to six units can be connected in parallel for higher power output. Additionally, three identical units can be configured for a 3-phase output. Communication takes place via the VE.Bus port; a general purpose communication port is also available.
