The MultiPlus 24/1600/40 combines a powerful 1600VA (1300W) true sine wave inverter with an advanced 40A battery charger featuring adaptive charge technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single, compact enclosure. This MultiPlus is supplied without the required 35mm² cables. Proven reliability The solid-bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven highly reliable over many years. The inverter is short-circuit proof and protects against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperatures. PowerControl – Maximize the use of limited generator, shore-side, or grid power The Digital Multi Control panel allows you to set a maximum generator or shore-side current. The MultiPlus then takes other power consumers into account and uses only the remaining power for charging, preventing the generator or shore connection from becoming overloaded. PowerAssist – Do more with your generator or shore power. Where peak power is often only needed for a short time, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for with power from the battery. When the load decreases, the reserve power is used to recharge the battery. High starting power. Required to start loads with high inrush current, such as voltage converters for LED lights, halogen lights, or power tools. Search Mode. When 'search mode' is enabled, the inverter's no-load power consumption is reduced by approximately 70%. 'Search mode' means that the Multi will switch off when there is no load or when the load is very low. The Multi will switch on briefly every 2 seconds. If the output current exceeds a set level, the inverter continues to operate. Otherwise, the inverter switches off again. Programmable relay The programmable relay is set as an alarm relay by default, meaning that the relay becomes de-energized in the event of an alarm or pre-alarm (inverter almost too hot, input ripple voltage almost too high, battery voltage almost too low). Remote monitoring and control – optional Monitor and control your MultiPlus system locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world with the free VRM app and the free VRM portal website. Access is possible for multiple operating systems via a phone, tablet, laptop or PC. The level of control is endless, from adjusting the MultiPlus to setting a Geofence for rental vehicles and more. A control device from the GX family is required for this. IP21 models 500VA – 1600VA The new MultiPlus IP21 models are available in 500VA, 800VA, 1200VA, 1600VA power ratings in 12V, 24V and 48V voltages.
