MultiPlus 48/2000/25-32 Applications For off-grid installations, backup systems, and larger 48V yachts requiring 230V without shore or generator power. Delivers 1600W continuous and 3500W peak, charges the battery bank at 25A, and takes over the load within 20 milliseconds. Pure sine wave inverter with UPS function. If the grid, shore power, or generator fails, the inverter switches on automatically and takes over the connected load. This happens within 20 milliseconds, allowing computers and other electronics to continue operating uninterrupted. * 2000VA / 1600W continuous at 25°C, 1400W at 40°C, 1000W at 65°C * 3500W peak power for loads with high inrush current * 230V AC ±2%, 50Hz ±0.1%, adjustable to 60Hz * Highest efficiency within the series: 95% * Protected against short circuit, overload, and overheating Adaptive 4-stage battery charger The output charges the battery bank with a maximum of 25A via adaptive charging software: bulk, absorption, and float, supplemented by a fourth stage for long-term maintenance charging. This 48V model does not have a separate trickle charge output for a starter battery. * Absorption 57.6V, float 55.2V, storage mode 52.8V * Connection for battery temperature sensor * AC input range 187 – 265V AC, 45 – 65Hz PowerControl Use a control panel to set the maximum generator or shore power. The charging current is automatically reduced as soon as other consumers draw on the available power, so that the connection does not become overloaded. PowerAssist In the event of short-term peak load, power from the battery bank immediately supplements the insufficient shore or generator power. As soon as the load drops, the surplus is used again to charge the battery bank. Parallel and 3-phase Multiple units can be connected in parallel for more power. Three identical units can be configured as a 3-phase system; a 3-phase delta configuration is not supported. Low no-load consumption with search mode In search mode, self-consumption at no-load drops from 11W to 4W. The inverter switches on briefly and remains on only as long as the output current stays above the set level. Programmable relay Set by default as an alarm relay for alarm or pre-alarm, for example in the event of excessive temperature, excessive ripple voltage at the input, or excessively low battery voltage. Can also be configured for DC undervoltage or generator start/stop. Switching capacity 230V/4A AC, 4A up to 35V DC and 1A up to 60V DC. Configuration The unit works straight out of the box with the default settings. Charging voltage and search mode can be changed using DIP switches. For all other settings, use VE.Configure via the MK3-USB interface, or VictronConnect in combination with the VE.Bus Smart dongle. Remote monitoring and control In combination with a GX communication center, you can monitor and operate the system locally via LAN or remotely via the internet, using the free app and the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://vrm.victronenergy.com/landingpage). Access from smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC.
