MultiPlus 48/5000/70-100 Applications Designed for professional applications on board, in vehicles, and in self-sufficient or grid-connected installations. Suitable for heavy loads with high starting current and for scalable systems: up to six units in parallel or in 3-phase operation. PowerControl Set the maximum shore, grid, or generator current using a control panel or via VEConfigure. Priority is given to the connected loads first; only the residual current goes to the battery charger. This prevents overloading of the source. PowerAssist In the event of a short-term peak load, the battery bank immediately supplements the shortage of shore or generator power. As soon as the load drops, the reserve capacity is used again to charge the battery bank. Two AC outputs The main output operates uninterrupted. The second output is only energized as long as AC is available at the input and switches off during battery operation. Intended for loads that must not discharge the battery bank, such as a water heater. Uninterruptible switching (UPS function) If the grid or shore power fails, the inverter takes over the power supply within 20 milliseconds. Computers and other electronics continue to operate undisturbed. Battery charger with adaptive charging technology Four-step adaptive charging with absorption 57.6 V, trickle charging 55.2 V, and storage mode 52.8 V. Charging current 70 A down to 25 °C. The battery temperature sensor is included. The charging algorithm can be adjusted via VEConfigure for lead-acid, AGM, gel, and lithium, among others. Parallel and 3-phase operation Up to six units in parallel for more power. Additionally, three identical units can be configured as a 3-phase system, and up to six of these sets can be connected in parallel up to 75 kW / 90 kVA with a charging capacity of more than 2000 A. Search mode and AES In search mode, the inverter switches off at no load and tests every two seconds whether there is a load; This reduces the no-load consumption to 15 W. Alternatively, AES mode lowers the no-load and low-load consumption to 30 W. Programmable relay Standardly configured as an alarm relay and can be set for pre-alarm, DC undervoltage, or generator start/stop, among others. Load capacity 230 V / 4 A AC, 4 A up to 35 V DC, and 1 A up to 60 V DC. Solar energy and ESS Suitable for use in self-sufficient and grid-connected PV systems, in combination with MPPT solar chargers or grid-connected PV inverters. Software for grid outage detection is available. Configuration, monitoring, and control Configuration is done using VEConfigure via the MK3 USB interface or with the VictronConnect app. For monitoring and control, a battery monitor, a Digital Multi Control panel, a GX communication center, and the VE.Bus Smart dongle are available, among others.
