MultiPlus-II 48/10000/140-100 The Victron MultiPlus-II – 48/10000/140-100/100 230V This new inverter/charger combination from Victron Energy is specifically designed for off-grid or grid-connected PV installations and alternative power systems. The MultiPlus-II combines a powerful pure sine wave inverter with a capacity of 10,000 VA (8,000 Watts), an advanced battery charger with 140 Ampere adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact housing. The MultiPlus-II is VDE and TOR D4 certified. PowerAssist The MultiPlus-II prevents overloading of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore connection. First, battery charging is automatically reduced to prevent overloading. Subsequently, the second level increases the output of the generator or shore power using power from the battery. ESS: Energy Storage Systems The MultiPlus-II is the main component of the Victron ESS (energy storage system); it provides a flexible combination with MPPT solar chargers or grid-connected PV inverters. Uninterruptible AC power (UPS function) In the event of a power outage, or if shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi will automatically activate and take over power to the connected devices. This happens so quickly (within 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronics can continue to function undisturbed. Remote monitoring and control You can monitor and control your Multi and system(s) from anywhere in the world. This can be done both locally (LAN) and remotely using the free VRM app and VRM portal website. This is possible from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or PC with various operating systems.
