MultiPlus-II 48/6k5/100-50 230V GX Applications The basis of virtually every 48V energy storage system: home batteries, commercial buildings, emergency power, and self-sufficient installations. Also suitable for maritime and mobile applications with heavy loads and limited shore or generator power. Built-in GX communication center The inverter/battery charger and GX device are housed in a single enclosure, featuring a 2 x 16-character display showing battery, inverter, and PV charge controller parameters. The same data can be accessed via Wi-Fi using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. This eliminates the need for a separate GX device, cabling, and installation time. Interfaces The GX section features a BMS-CAN interface for a compatible CAN-bus managed battery, a VE.Direct port, a USB port, an Ethernet port, and Wi-Fi. Note: the BMS-CAN port is not a VE.CAN port. PowerControl and PowerAssist Set the maximum grid, shore, or generator current; the remaining capacity goes to the battery charger so that the source does not become overloaded. During peak load, the battery bank immediately replenishes the deficit, and the reserve capacity is then used again for charging. With the optional external AC current sensor, this range extends up to 100 A. ESS and Feed-in Core component of a Victron ESS installation, to be combined with MPPT solar chargers and grid-connected PV inverters. Using data from an external current sensor or energy meter, self-consumption is optimized and feed-in can be limited or blocked. Maximum apparent feed-in power 6 kW. Power and time-limited power 6 kW continuous at 25 °C, 5.7 kW at 40 °C, and 4.6 kW at 65 °C. After a cold start, 6.5 kW is available for 4 hours and 8 kW for 1 hour. The peak power is 11 kW for 1 minute. Two AC outputs. The main output operates uninterrupted and takes over within 20 milliseconds in the event of a mains failure or loss of shore or generator power. The 32 A auxiliary output is only energized as long as AC is present at the input and is intended for loads that must not discharge the battery bank. Battery charger. Adaptive charging with absorption 57.6 V, trickle charging 55.2 V, and storage mode 52.8 V. Charging current 100 A at 25 °C and 95 A at 40 °C. Suitable for LiFePO4, lead-acid, and zinc-bromine, among others, provided the charger is configured according to the battery manufacturer's specifications. The battery temperature sensor is optional, item number ASS000001000. Parallel and 3-phase operation. Up to six identical units in parallel and 3-phase operation in a star configuration via standard RJ45 UTP cables. Since only one GX device is permitted per system, coupled units must be of the same model. For larger systems, a version without a built-in GX device using an external GX device may be more practical. The product is not suitable for a 3-phase delta configuration. Low self-consumption. No-load power 28 W, 18 W in AES mode, and 8 W in search mode. Programmable relay. Can be configured for general alarm, DC undervoltage, or generator start/stop. Load capacity 230 V / 4 A AC, 4 A up to 35 V DC, and 1 A up to 60 V DC. Remote monitoring and control. Via the Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection, the system can be monitored and adjusted locally and remotely in the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://vrm.victronenergy.com), including alarm notifications via email or push message.
