Orion-Tr Smart 24/24-17A Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-15A (360W) non-isolated DC-DC battery charger is specifically designed for use in systems with an ECO (smart) alternator (Euro 5 / Euro 6). The outputs of this model are non-isolated, meaning the negative (-) is connected to the central ground or the chassis. This professional three-stage DC-to-DC battery charger ensures that the auxiliary battery in vehicles or boats can be charged effectively despite fluctuating alternator voltage. The Orion-Tr Smart can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth, and operated remotely via an external on/off switch. Furthermore, the device is equipped with an engine operation detection mechanism. Bluetooth Smart enabled: Any smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-equipped device can be used to check and change settings and to update the battery charger when new software features become available.
