Quattro 12/3000/120-50/50 Applications For installations with two AC sources, for example shore power and a generator. The unit automatically selects the active source, charges the battery bank at 120 A, and delivers 2400 W continuously. Suitable for yachts, expedition vessels, mobile workshops, and backup installations. Two AC inputs with integrated changeover switch Two independent AC sources can be connected, for example the mains and a generator or two generators. The unit automatically switches to the active source; a separate current limit can be set for each input. PowerControl and PowerAssist In the event of a limited AC source, the charging current is first regulated down. If the power remains insufficient, the inverter immediately tops up from the battery bank, and the reserve current is recharged later. Two AC outputs The main output is uninterruptible and takes over the load within 20 milliseconds. The second output is only active when AC voltage is present on one of the inputs, intended for consumers that must not discharge the battery bank, such as a water heater. Parallel and three-phase operation Up to six units can be connected in parallel. Three units form a three-phase system, and these sets can again be connected in parallel for larger installations. Programmable relays and pre-alarm Three programmable relays, set as alarm relays by default. The relay trips in the event of an alarm or pre-alarm, for example due to excessive temperature, excessive ripple voltage on the input, or excessively low battery voltage. Also usable as start/stop control for a generator. Search Mode and AES In Search Mode, no-load consumption drops by approximately 70%. Alternatively, AES reduces consumption at no-load and low load by approximately 20%; AES is only usable in stand-alone configuration. Monitoring and configuration Stand-alone settings are managed via DIP switches. Parallel and three-phase systems are configured using VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator.
