Quattro 12/5000/220-100/100 Applications The heaviest 12 V version with two AC inputs and 2x 100 A transfer current. Delivers 4000 W continuously, peaks up to 10000 W, and charges at 220 A. Intended for large yachts, expedition vessels, and installations where shore power and a generator alternate. Two AC inputs with integrated changeover switch. Two independent AC sources can be connected, for example, the grid and a generator. The unit automatically switches to the active source, with a transfer current of 2x 100 A and a separate current limit per input. PowerControl and PowerAssist First, the charging current is reduced to conserve the source. If the power still falls short, the inverter tops up from the battery bank; as the load decreases, that energy is recharged. Two AC outputs The main output is uninterruptible and takes over the load within 20 milliseconds. The second output is only active as long as AC voltage is present on one of the inputs, for consumers that must not discharge the battery bank. Parallel and three-phase operation Up to six units can be connected in parallel; three units form a three-phase system, and these sets can again be connected in parallel. Programmable relays and pre-alarm Three programmable relays, configured as alarm relays by default. The relay trips in the event of an alarm or pre-alarm, such as excessive inverter temperature, excessive ripple voltage, or low battery voltage, and can also be used as generator control. Search Mode and AES Search Mode reduces no-load consumption by approximately 70%. AES reduces consumption at no-load and low load by approximately 20% and is only usable in a stand-alone configuration. Monitoring and configuration Configuration via DIP switches, VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator, or with assistants for ESS and self-consumption applications. With a GX device, you monitor and operate the system locally and remotely via the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://vrm.victronenergy.com), or via Bluetooth with the VE.Bus Smart dongle on a smartphone or tablet.
