Quattro 24/8000/200-100/100 Applications For heavy-duty 24V installations with two power sources: yachts and work vessels with shore power and a generator, mobile workshops, event power, and off-grid systems where source selection must be automatic and the battery bank needs to be recharged quickly. Two AC inputs with integrated changeover switch Two independent AC sources can be connected, for example, the mains and a generator or two generators. The unit automatically switches to the active source. A separate current limit can be set per input; the maximum throughput current is 2 x 100 A. Two AC outputs The main output operates uninterrupted: in the event of a mains failure or the loss of shore or generator power, the power supply is taken over within 20 milliseconds. The 50 A auxiliary output is only active as long as AC voltage is present on one of the inputs and is intended for loads that must not discharge the battery bank, such as air conditioning or a water heater. PowerControl and PowerAssist With a charging current of 200 A, this unit draws heavily from the source. PowerControl limits the charging current to the set limit, taking other AC loads into account. PowerAssist supplements short-term peaks with power from the battery bank and recharges it as soon as the load decreases. A split-phase source can be realized using an autotransformer on a unit programmed for 240 V / 60 Hz. Adaptive battery charger Four-step adaptive charging characteristic with absorption 28.8 V, trickle 27.6 V, and storage mode 26.4 V. The battery charging current is 200 A down to an ambient temperature of 25 °C; additionally, there is a 4 A trickle charger for the starter battery.
