Quattro 48/8000/110-100/100 Applications For larger yachts, workboats, off-grid homes, and commercial buildings with shore power or a generator. Two AC inputs of 100 A each, a takeover within 20 ms, and PowerAssist deliver 6.4 kW continuous on a limited grid connection. Two AC inputs with integrated takeover switch The Quattro accepts two independent AC sources, for example, the public grid and a generator, or shore power and a generator, and automatically selects the active source. The maximum transfer current is 2x 100 A. The AC input range is 187-250 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Two AC outputs * AC-out-1 is uninterruptible: in the event of a loss of grid, shore power, or generator, the inverter takes over the load within 20 ms. * AC-out-2 is only active as long as AC voltage is present on one of the inputs. Suitable for loads that must not discharge the battery bank, such as a water heater or air conditioning. PowerControl and PowerAssist A current limit can be set per AC input. The Quattro takes other AC loads into account and uses only the remaining current to charge, ensuring the generator or mains connection is not overloaded. PowerAssist supplements short-term peaks with power from the battery bank and recharges as the load decreases. Battery charger * Maximum charging current 110 A with adaptive charging characteristic. * Absorption 57.6 V, trickle charging 55.2 V, storage mode 52.8 V. * The battery temperature sensor is not included with the 48V version and can be ordered separately. * This model does not have a charging port for a starter battery; this is only present on the 12V and 24V versions. Energy Storage and Solar Energy This model is certified for grid-connected energy storage and suitable for off-grid and grid-connected PV installations, in conjunction with MPPT charge controllers and grid-connected inverters. With ESS functionality, self-consumption, backup, and charging during low electricity prices can be combined. Parallel, Three-Phase, and Split-Phase Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel for higher output power. Three units of the same type form a three-phase system. A split-phase output can be realized using an autotransformer in combination with an inverter programmed for 240 V / 60 Hz. Configuration, Monitoring, and Operation * Basic settings via DIP switches; parallel and three-phase systems via VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator. * Off-grid, grid-connected, and self-consumption installations with Assistants. * Local data reading using a communication center such as the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX, a battery monitor, a control panel, Bluetooth, laptop, or computer. * Remote reading and configuration via the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://vrm.victronenergy.com/landingpage). * Three programmable relays and two general-purpose ports, including for communication with the battery management system of a lithium battery bank.
