Quattro-II 48/5000/70-50/50

Quattro-II 48/5000/70-50/50 Applications For homes, commercial buildings, yachts, and off-grid installations where the grid and generator alternate. Two AC inputs, ESS functionality, and a takeover within 20 ms keep critical loads operational, even if the mains power fails. Two AC inputs with integrated takeover switch The Quattro-II accepts two independent AC sources, for example, the public grid and a generator, or two generators. The unit automatically selects the active source. The takeover switch and the maximum AC input current are 50 A per input. Two AC outputs * AC-out-1 is uninterruptible: in the event of a mains failure, the inverter takes over the load within 20 ms. * AC-out-2 is only active as long as AC voltage is present at the input and switches off immediately during battery operation. Suitable for water heaters, air conditioning, and other loads that must not drain the battery bank. * Upon return of mains power, AC-out-2 is switched back on after approximately two minutes. PowerControl and PowerAssist A maximum current can be set per input. The Quattro-II takes other AC loads into account and uses only the remaining current for charging, ensuring the grid or generator is not overloaded. PowerAssist supplements any deficit with power from the battery bank: up to 5 kVA (approx. 21 A) extra, allowing the output to deliver up to 71 A at an input current of 50 A. Battery charger * Maximum charging current 70 A with adaptive charging characteristic. * Absorption 57.6 V, trickle charging 55.2 V, storage mode 52.8 V. * Charger AC input range 187-265 VAC, 45-65 Hz. * The battery temperature sensor is not included with the 48V version and must be ordered separately. ESS and solar energy The Quattro-II is suitable for off-grid and grid-connected PV installations and works with both MPPT charge controllers and grid-connected inverters. With ESS functionality, self-consumption, backup, and charging during low electricity prices can be combined. The maximum apparent feed-in output is 5000 VA. Parallel and three-phase Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel. Six 48/5000/70 units together deliver 25 kW / 30 kVA with a 420 A charging current. Three units of the same type form a three-phase system, and up to 6 sets of three can be connected in parallel per phase, providing 75 kW / 90 kVA and more than 1200 A charging current. Configure, monitor, and operate * Settings via VEConfigure with an MK3 USB interface. * Local data reading using a communication center such as the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX, a battery monitor, a control panel, or via Bluetooth with a VE.Bus Smart dongle. * Remote data reading and configuration via the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://vrm.victronenergy.com/landingpage). * Two general-purpose ports for communication with, among other things, the battery management system of a lithium battery bank. Housing and connections * Steel housing, IP21, forced cooling, operating temperature -40 to +65 °C. * Battery connection with M8 bolts. * 230 VAC connection with screw terminals up to 13 mm². * 32 A auxiliary output and a programmable relay, configurable for general alarm, DC undervoltage, or generator start/stop, among other functions.
