Victron BlueSolar PWM DUO-LCD&USB 12/24V-20A Applications One panel field, two battery banks: charges starter and service batteries simultaneously without a separator diode or second controller. For motorhomes, boats, trailers, and work vans where the starter battery must not discharge while the service bank is in use. Two separate battery outputs The controller charges two independent battery banks from a single panel field. The distribution of the charging current is adjustable: with a set ratio of 20%, 20% of the available current goes to battery 1 and 80% to battery 2 during the bulk phase. Factory setting is 50%. Automatic with one battery bank If the controller detects that only battery 1 is connected, the full charging current automatically goes to that battery bank. The switching frequency between both banks is adjustable to 25, 50, or 100 Hz. Charging current 20 A is the total across both outputs combined, not per output. At a ratio of 100%, one battery bank can receive the full 20 A. LCD screen Built-in LCD for status monitoring and changing settings: battery type, charging voltages, distribution ratio, and switching frequency. Two USB outputs Two 5 V outputs, combined maximum 2 A. In this model, the USB ports form the load output; there is no separate switchable load output as in the non-DUO versions. The controller compensates at -30 mV/°C at 12V and -60 mV/°C at 24V. Automatic voltage detection: Automatically detects whether it is a 12V or 24V system. Maximum solar voltage 28 V at 12V and 55 V at 24V. Use a 36-cell panel for 12V and a 72-cell panel or two 36-cell panels in series for 24V. Mounting and connection: Terminals up to 16 mm² (AWG6), shared grounding minimum. Protection class IP20, therefore exclusively for dry indoor mounting. Operating temperature -35 to +55 °C. Protected against battery reverse polarity and overtemperature.
