Victron MPPT Control The MPPT Control is a panel display for Victron Energy's BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers. It shows live and historical data from the charge controller and provides access to the most frequently used settings. The connection is made via a VE.Direct cable; the housing is the same as that of the BMV-700 series, ensuring the display integrates seamlessly with the rest of your panel. Applications Not every installation is suitable for operation via a telephone or a GX device. In a fixed setup — an onboard control panel, in a chalet, or in a technical room — you simply want to be able to read the solar yield without having to connect anything first. This display does just that, and also allows the charge controller to be configured on-site. * Marine and camper: panel mounting at the switches * Off-grid installations without a GX device or network connection * Holiday homes and outbuildings where the user does not want to use an app * Installations where a fixed, readable overview is desired What you can read out * PV power, yield, voltage, and current * Battery voltage, charging current, and charging phase * Status and current of the load output, provided the charge controller has one * Daily yield and 30-day history * Cumulative values ​​over the entire lifespan of the charge controller * The last four daily error messages Changing settings The most common settings of the charge controller can be adjusted via the menu, such as battery voltage and the charging algorithm. Advanced settings — for example, the TX and RX port functions — are not accessible via this display; for these, you use the VictronConnect app. A LOCK function protects the settings against unwanted changes. Connection and power supply The display is connected to the charge controller using a VE.Direct cable. This cable is not included and cannot be extended; the maximum length is 10 meters. For charge controllers that switch off at night, the display can be connected directly to the battery via the supplied power cable, ensuring that the last received status, history, and settings remain visible. Mounting The housing is designed for flush panel mounting. If this is not possible, a separate wall housing is available in which the display can be mounted. Selection Guide The MPPT Control is compatible with the entire BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT series, with the exception of the BlueSolar MPPT 70/15, which has long been discontinued. For charge controllers of 60 A and above, Victron recommends the more suitable SmartSolar Control display.
